The chief executive of Nokia, Stephen Elop, who this year signed a contract ensuring that Windows 7 would be the Phone system used by all smartphones created by Nokia, commented on the implications of the Google’s purchase of Motorola to rivals Samsung and HTC. For him, buying multi-billion dollar enterprise should be seen as a major threat for those competing with Motorola’s Android smartphones and could make companies consider adopting the Windows platform Phone future. |
